Hello all you MUSIC LOVING PEOPLE. Welcome to my new page. Previously known for my Trance anthems, BEAUTIFUL, LIBERATION, VOICE OF AN ANGEL, with Matt Darey and SO SPECIAL with Jules and my brother Michael and many many others, I finally decided to turn my hand to a little Electro stylie :-) HANDS UP is my first record of this genre, and it was written and produced by my talented brother Michael Woods. Now we have a new OUT OF OFFICE single, a cover of the fabulous classic "BREAK OF DAWN"..........ENJOY !!!!!! ooh....................... and some nice person wrote this about me and my career................................ (watch out for repeats) ........ :-)............................................................................................................. Marcella Woods has long been regarded as one of the best Live PAs to emerge from the UK Dance scene. Stunningly beautiful and immensely dynamic, she delivers a most amazing, electric stage & vocal performance, having entertained hundreds of thousands of adoring fans the world over. Marcella has been known as one of the main divas of the dance music since the Trance explosion of 1998 with her three UK Top 10 hits: "Liberation", "Beautiful" and "Voice of an Angel" all recorded with Matt Darey and heavily supported by Judge Jules, Pete Tong and Dave Pearce on Radio 1. Marcella has recently turned to a more concentrated collaboration (after the success of "SO SPECIAL") with her brother Michael Woods under the guise of OUT OF OFFICE and "HANDS UP", the first single, got off to a flying start. Since doing a small promo mail out in Jan 07 it picked up huge momentum via Roger Sanchez who hammered it on his show, Pete Tong made it his essential new tune and it received much love from Judge Jules (Radio 1), Sarah Main (Galaxy) and Steve Smart (Kiss 100) and even weeks after its release continues to get smashed on major radio networks up and down the country. The (Marcella & Michael Woods) OUT OF OFFICE follow up single is a cover of the 1995 World Wide club smash "BREAK OF DAWN". Marcella and Michael have sprinkled a little magic over this classic gem, bringing it nicely into 2007 but still retaining all its original glory. This monster is not due for release until early 2008 but already Pete Tong has jumped on it, giving it air time on Radio 1, making it HIS ESSENTIAL NEW TUNE and it is also Galaxy Radios HOT NEW TUNE OF THE WEEK!!!........... Keep your ears firmly peeled for that GIANT !!!!!! Marcella continues to perform all over the world at major club events such as: Pacha, Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Judgement Sundays, Cream, Homelands, Slinky and for Dave Pearce's Dance Anthems events for Radio 1.
