Marcel Schweder works as a professional composer of modern and expressive orchestra and chamber music for concert & stage, film & videogames and for all sorts of multimedia-projects.
He has composed mostly orchestral music for over 70 different productions in Germany, Switzerland and the USA.
His music honors the tradition of composers like Gustav Mahler, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Richard Strauss and many other composers of the early 20th century. Other major musical influences are of course music of composers like John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith and other master-composers of orchestral filmscores.

For the music for the audio drama series "Dorian Hunter" was Marcel Schweder, together with his colleagues Joachim Witt, MoorlandMusic and Gene Hunt, awarded with the "Hörspiel Award 2008 - Critics Award" in the category "Best Radio Play-musician".

Wie läuft die Arbeit? Leider kann ich auf Deiner Seite grad nicht reinhorchen, da mein Rechnernicht ganz fit ist und weder Musik noch Videos abspielt :(
Wirklich gut, was du komponierst. Macht mir Lust auf eine Zusammenarbeit bei meinem nächsten Film. Kennst du Jean-Claude Pelletier's Soundtrack zu "Dali's Soft Self Portrait"? Vielleicht fändest du ihn sehr exaltiert, hat aber angenehm futuristische Qualitäten, in Richtung Black Hole (John Barry) oder manches von Bernard Herrmann, aber mit Chören á là Enterprise.... Hahaha, machst du auch Chöre? Hut ab jedenfalls, Gruß, Andrrrrrre.
