I don't know of someone specific that I sound like. Maybe a cross between Alison Krauss, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, and Shania Twain. If you have any thoughts let me know.

CD REVIEW:
Something for everybody
author: LKristine
One of the reasons I love this CD is that it's got a lot of variety. Marce May has a country sound mostly, but you'll also find some rock and even some blues. I can listen to this CD for hours and hours at a time because the sound isn't the same on every song. Another thing I love is Marce May's lyrics. You can tell she puts a lot of care into crafting each line. Some of the stuff she comes up with is so clever and so right-on. My favorites are Tough Job (a tribute to mothers) and Hit N Run. I also really enjoy her version of Long Black Train, and I find Time Keeps Tickin very comforting.
Here are some pics of: 1) The talented folks on my CD 2) A couple pictures of my MiddleCreek performance and 3) A pic at the Wagon Wheel with their awesome band..... You have to check this place out! We had more fun than we've had in a long time.

Bio: By Marce May
I see life as a journey. You start out at the bottom of a mountain, and slowly make your way to the top. Along the way there are obstacles, but you overcome them and press on, until you reach your destiny at the top!
I started singing when I was 15 years old at church. I didn't even know I could sing until then. I'd sing at church almost every Sunday. Also, I sang at talent expo's thru our church organization. I entered every talent category they had- Poetry, Art, Singing, Drama, and Public Speaking.
When I was 26, I made an appointment at a local studio to record a demo for a talent contest. That's where I met Pat. Pat was a vocal coach, so I started lessons. Through time my confidence started building, and little by little I started singing more & more.
Since then I've been selected to sing in Branson, St. Louis, and other areas throughout Missouri. In 2006 & 2007, I sang at the MiddleCreek Theatre in Louisberg, KS.
In 2005 I started co-writing music with Pat. Pat and I now have more than 20 songs that we've written together. In 2007 we completed production on my first CD- Labor of Love.
I continue to press on, and follow this journey to where it leads me next. Whatever happens along the way, I pray that I may touch lives, and be an inspiration. Singing is a vehicle that can reach out and affect peoples lives. It can bring back memories of happiness, open eyes to truth, and heal a hurting heart. I want my music to do all of those things. It's about reaching out, spreading a message of love and hope, and bringing a smile to someone's face. It's my hope that I am inspiring others to do the same.
Thank you for the friendship. Have a beautiful weekend. Take care & keep in touch. Remember.."Relax to the music". *smiles* With warmest regards, BoStreet BoStreetMusic
Recently I performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" for the NW Ohio Antique Tractor Show and thought I would upload it to MySpace. Be sure to stop by and let me know what you think of it!
We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love. ~Author Unknown
