MAYA ANGALOU-I got to hear Maya Angalou speak in May. I loved what she said about a 19th century folk song including the lyrics, "find the rainbow in your cloud," She...went on to explain the meaning of finding the rainbow in your cloud. The metaphor, she explained, meant finding someone or something that makes life worth living. I was in a car taking pictures. Bill did try to locate someone with an extra helmet!! I have seen the other drivers when we went to DFW to pick up a US Marine in July. Marcia, I thought that comment would give you a different way of looking at teaching for the day. In this day you have to be couragious. As you mentioned teaching can also be contagious. Just sharing something as beautiful as religion can be a war of the minds sometimes. Cherie my oldest daughter is currently an early headstart teacher. My son is in Iraq. Where he has been for the past 2 years. He has come home a few times. Jessica my youngest is in El Paso going to Surgical Tech School. Be spiritually determinedly daring. Until Next Time...

Thanks for the birthday greetings, Marcia. My physical birthdate is also my spiritual birthday - I discovered the Faith on my 20th birthday and became a Baha'i that same night. I like to think of it as my birthday gift from God:-) my birthday is also the midpoint of the Fast - 9 days of Fast before it and 9 days of Fast after it. Hope you're having a blessed Fast!
