Marc JB is a DJ, producer and Musical Director, you may allready be familiar with the musical projects he is involved with such as the Leo Sayer-sampling Number One ‘Thunder in my heart, again’ by Meck and 30 club chart no.1s across the UK and the States.
JB started out playing thrash guitar in underground clubs, before becoming the accomplished multi-instrumentalist he is today and he can often be found Djing and playing live with his various bands. Marc also comes from a long line of family musical greats which have been a major influence on his career path, his grandfather ‘Jack Jackson’ was a pioneer of Djing and Sampling.
JB and his studio partner Lee Dagger are the hugely successful Bimbo Jones remix team who are also known by their alter-egos, Dead Stereo & Element. Marc and Lee's unique blend of talents have proven to be the basis for a successful partnership remixing a number of top artists including Killers, Pink, Janet Jackson, Usher, Deep Dish, Annie Lennox as well as more recently, Britney’s ‘If you seek Amy’ and Keri Hilson and Kanye West.
JB and Lee were introduced to South London house music vocalist Katherine Ellis and Bimbo Jones the band was born. 'Harlem one stop' was the band's debut release and recently they were signed to Tommy Boy Records in the US and plan to release an album and second single, 'And I try' in the Summer of 2008.
As a producer, JB (and DJ Lee Dagger) were involved with the no.1 hit by Meck, 'Thunder in my heart'.
As a DJ he has DJed around the world
Marc's band 'Echofly' is one of the hottest and cutting new emerging sounds in the Uplifting/Chill arena.
