Marc is directly involved with this page and the project, but does not moderate the page.
I'm John Miller, a tv/documentary producer and the moderator of this site. I produced and directed a short documentary about Marc Klaas and his team working on a missing child case in Omaha, Nebraska. No budget or sponsors; just the amazing help of some talented producer friends (Tyler Chesher, @mic, Matt Crocco and Tee-a Hoff), a mac G4, a mish-mash of video cameras and the inspiration, support and participation of real life heroes like Marc Klaas, Brad Dennis and Melissa Harris.
We believe the piece is compelling, heartbreaking and eye opening.
THE LINK BELOW WILL TAKE YOU TO A SHORT DOCUMENTARY PRESENTATION; A SNAPSHOT OF SIX MONTHS IN THE LIFE OF MARC KLAAS, HIS STAFF, AND THE FAMILY OF A MISSING CHILD SEEKING THEIR HELP.
The presentation covers the heartbreaking story of a missing child from the perspective of Marc Klaas and his team, as well as the family of the missing child, Amber Harris.
You may have heard of Marc. On Oct 1, 1993, his twelve-year-old daughter Polly was kidnapped and murdered.
Devastated, Marc pursued a life of activism with an aggressive child safety agenda.
Marc formed KlaasKids in September, 1994, a non profit foundation dedicated to the prevention of crimes against children, stronger sentencing for violent criminals and governmental accountability and responsibility.
The foundation is run by Klaas with a tight group of trusted experts.
