German Record label Dance Street/ZYX have licensed the 'Nite Klub Skewl' album, which will be re-packaged under the new name 'Master & Servant' and will feature brand new tracks 'I Like Boys', 'Hallo SpaceBoy' & 'Sex Drive (Groovesisters edit)..release date pencilled in for March 17th. To be followed on the same label by a new single/Ep of all the new 'Master & Servant/Sex Drive' mixes. A video for 'Master & Servant' was filmed in London on March 5th. More news coming soon.

Massive Ego comprises of lead vocalist Marc Massive, Olly Frost, Andy JT and Sam Mackenzie. Over the years there have been several line-up changes for the band since being formed in 1996 with fellow school friend Andy Thirlwall however the consistent factor in the band is front man Marc. Who over the last decade has modelled for Dolce and Gabbana, Paul Smith, Yoji Yamamoto, appeared in various pop videos for the likes of Elton John, Take That, Holly Johnson, Wet Wet Wet, Andy Taylor (Duran Duran), Boy George, Ezee Possee & advertising campaigns for Levis and Nikos 'Sculpture' parfum with model agency's Storm & So Dam Tuff, to name but a few.
Over the years Marc has graced many magazine covers and has been the subject of much press interest largely due to the various androgynous looks he fashions for the Massive Ego image.
He also spent time working as a dancer for Boy George and
his project "Jesus Loves You" and MC Kinky of "Everything Starts With An E".
The bands distinctive Elektro-pop/Trance/NRG sound largely pioneered by producer Ross Alexander and ex-PWL producer Barry Stone have seen the band participate in UK club tours and annual performances at the biggest Pride events and at celebrity parties including supporting Sigue Sigue Sputnik on tour, performing at Steve Strange's (Visage) book launch in London and were watched at The Salon on Channel 5, & Celebrity Big Brother’s Little brother for Channel 4.
Performances have also included top billing at Manchester's Printworks, Euro Pride, Brighton Pride, Summer Rites, and London's Finsbury Park in front of over 10,000 people at Big Gay Out. As well as clubs the length and breath of the UK including Heaven, Sound, Limelight, Ghetto, Flamingos & Trannyshack to name a few.
Massive Ego have seen UK single releases on Academy Street Records, & Klone Records, and proved their endurance through the relentless, ever changing climate of the music industry and are constantly experimenting with new looks and sounds. Perhaps these are just a couple of reasons why their loyal fan base just carries on growing.
Promo videos for Planet Earth & Supernature were released on two DVD music compilations CLUB VISION and CLUB VIDEO playing in shopping malls, bars & clubs through out the USA.
2004 saw Marc Massive establish himself as an underground DJ in London. His first residency was the Friday nighter POPCELL which ran for 3 years at Central Station in Kings Cross.
Marc has also DJ'd in the VIP Lounge at Church in The Cafe De Paris, London, and recently The Black Cap, Soho Revue Bar, The Green, & Cuckoo Couture.
Marc with his partner & fellow band mate Olly Frost, also curate the extremely successful art/club event ACT ART, with the last ‘ACT ART 4- Memoirs Of A Merkin’ featuring over 60 artists and attracting 800+ through the door.
The band have released several singles on UK labels Academy Street, and recently Klone/Rumour Records, aswell as releases in Japan & Australia. With many tracks appearing on compilation CD's over the years. Marc has duetted with DJ Dusty O on the single 'My Heart Goes Bang' and the recent elektro track based on Visage's 'The Anvil'...'Nite Klub Skewl' produced by club DJ legend Tasty Tim.
The album 'Nite Klub Skewl' brings the band bang upto date, and is out now on Klone Records, recieving rave reviews in Boyz,QX,The London Paper,F*@k Magazine,Bent to name a few, aswell as recently being interviewed by a USA based podcast..so have a listen @GO RAINBOW RADIO
Not resting on their laurels, Marc Massive has just completed guest vocals on producer Pianoman's (Blurred) new track which has been put out under a new alter-ego VILE CHILDand has just been licensed, the fantastic L.O.E.P mix has just been added to the player above.
The guys also curated the annual art event 'ACT ART 5-Till Death Us Do Art' on June 8th at the 1000 capacity Arches venue (home to XXL) in London Bridge..this was the biggest event so far and was a huge success..please see ACT ART website for pixs/videos from the event.
POPCELLthe legendary pop trash nite promoted by Marc & Olly returned to a weekly Saturday nite slot @ XXL LONDON in Arch 3 in the Autumn of 2007 for a 3 month run...DJ MARC MASSIVE mixed up the retro elektro revolution with f**cked up scratch visuals from VJ OLLY FROST. Marc & Olly have since taken a break from the club promotion to concentrate on other forthcoming projects.
