Blending a mix of the Kinks, Superdrag and Weezer, Le MOOD’s sound is bright and carefree. The harmonies are as sweet as their American accents could hope to make them. It almost feels as if they are not only out of tune with the world’s doom and gloom outlook, but that they exist on a separate plain entirely-somewhere off in dusky clouds, inspired by the blossoming city lights below.
Le MOOD has been receiving radio airplay in various college radio markets. Our latest EP debuted at 72 on the CMJ college radio charts. Multiple tracks off both Le Mood's EP's were featured on MTV's The Real World, and the Challenge. The band has had memorable performances at In The City Fest (Manchester UK) 2008, CMJ 2007-2008, and shared the stage with artists such as Stellastarr, Simian Mobile Disco, Asteroids Galaxy Tour, Pat Fish (the Jazz Butcher), This Is Ivy League, and Tom Morello (the Nightwatchman)
