Marco Cher-Gibard is a sound artist, currently studying at RMIT university, with interests in time and live performance. A founding member of Stream, he is currently cultivating relatively new interests in live audiovisual performance and video .
A bassist in previous incarnations (No See Dolly, Scruff, Full Blood Commandos, 101 Damnations ), he now spends much of his time improvising with computers and sound. Programs currently enjoyed: Audiomulch, Max/MSP/Jitter. Programs useful: Modplug(!). Programs loathed: Pro Tools
In the past Marco has been lucky enough to support Will Guthrie, The Same Girl, Philip Samartzis + Marcia Jane, Helmut Head and Xenosine AV!
Current projects include an as-yet unnamed audiovisual collaboration with Rosalind Hall, prepared saxophonist and improviser extraordinaire. Together they have performed a number of times around Melb, most recently at Live Feeding, pictured left.
