Rock and folk legends will always influence the performances.--
From the Eagles to John Prine. From The Beatles to Patty Larkin. "The cool thing about entertaining is setting the pace and charge of the crowd with great songs....sometimes you give an intro, sometimes you drink with them"

Marconias - guitar, vocals, harmonica, mandolin. Have PA, will travel.
Marconias originally hails from CA and now is living and laughing in AZ.
He took up the guitar in his teens and quickly started writing songs. He had some classical guitar lessons and attributes his finger style to those excercises. Folk songs were the favorites,... Cat Stevens, Seals and Crofts, John Denver, Dan Fogelberg, Neil young and the like. More recently interpreting arrangements of favorite covers from great contemporary folk writers like Patty Larkin and Loudon Wainwright, David Wilcox, Steve Earll, and will play many other acoustic rock songs on request. Recently started playing the mandolin and plays it at his gigs more and more.
His CD "Restless Souls" is available at CD Baby and Bathtub Music on the web. It has 10 original songs and will hold your attention. If you like Pop, Folk, or Folk Rock styles then this could be the CD you tell your friends about.
His new CD is in progress.
Marconias has played at pubs and coffee houses all over the Phoenix area, and keeps the crowd entertained with his wit and borderline sarcastic wisdom. Check out the gig schedule to see him live and up close at a show.
A full list of the repitoire of music is listed at the official web site, marconias.com
I love The Gin Blossoms! They are the most down to earth guys. I have had the opportunity to work with Robin Wilson and Scotty Johnson and I still have their autographs (haha). I wrote a song a couple of years ago 'You Won't See Me Crying' and Robin sang back up vocals and harmony on the recording (oh yeah played guitar) all out of the kindness of his heart. The song was a ringtone for Cingular/AT&T and it came in 2nd in Cingular's contest. I was truly blessed again working with Scotty on a song I wrote and he put in the electric guitar parts. I've also been fortunate enough to perform with Scotty. I have a video on my page at a show we did. Sorry about all that, I got a little carried away! HaHa
One week from today (Nov 15th) I will be back in Phoenix for my Party @ the Rhythm Room. The time is from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and I really hope you can attend. Make it a point to show up and say hello. At all my previous events I never had the time to participate in the party because I was running around producing the event. Capturing the video was always so important to me and at the same time one of my greatest obstacles. I was so busy producing that I may not have had time for friends who showed up specifically for me, so this will be a chance to visit.
On Saturday night when I am at the Rhythm Room I will be looking for my old friends - all of you who were the core group of people that enjoyed & loved what I did. I am asking each and everyone of you to show up for old time's sake, and I am thankful to have another opportunity to spend some time with you. I know that it will be a great time and a special gathering.
Coming with me to Arizona is a very special person in my life; someone who inspired me to finish & create my archives and give it to the world free on http://www. youtube. com/joelsamuelpresents She gave me the nurturing and opportunity in many ways to create my YouTube/ journals and preserve and carry on my art with many of your own contributions now uploaded on my channels.
Later in the evening anyone who wants to hang out longer will be entertained by the great music of Bob Corritore & Big Pete Pearson with some of our best blues players in Phoenix- You are welcome to stay and enjoy the show. Please show up early so that we can visit before the entertainment and noise begins and the cover charge starts.
Since I am only going to be in Phoenix for the weekend, I need your assistance by helping me get the word out to friends that I have somehow lost touch with since I moved away. You know how it is to update address books and contacts all the time.
