Em mais de 15 anos de experiencia profissional, Marco Oliveira ja integrou diversas bandas no Rio Grande do Sul e Santa Catarina. Participou de varios eventos e Festivais tanto de musica popular como instrumental. Em 2000,2001 e 2003 foi 1 colocado no Cascavel Jazz Festival no Parana, fato veiculado em revistas de distribuicao nacional como Cover Guitarra, Batera e Backstage. Em 2004 juntamente ao guitarrista Tomati (programa do Jo) e os Trios Curupira e Uakti apresentou-se na 3 noite do Joinvile Jazz Festival. Em suas participaes em festivais ja teve a oportunidade de dividir o mesmo palco com musicos de renome como Kiko Loureiro, Sidnei Carvalho, Arthur Maia, Mozart Mello, Mauro Senise, Kiko Freitas, Victor Biglione, Hermeto Pascoal entre outros. Atualmente Marco Oliveira trabalha com producao e arranjos para bandas e artistas locais alem de ministrar cursos e workshops de Guitarra e Harmonia & Improvisacao.
In over 15 years of professional experience Marco Oliveira has been a member of many bands in the states of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, Brazil.
He also played on several events and festivals of popular music as an
instrumental musician. In 2000, 2001 and 2003 he was 1st placed in the
Cascavél Jazz Festival, in Paraná state of Brazil. This was widely reported
on magazines of national distribution, such as Cover Guitarra, Batera
and Backstage. In 2004, along with guitar player Tomati (from Jô Soares tv show) and the "Trios Curupira" and "Uaktî" musical groups, he performed at the third night of the "Joinville Jazz Festival", in Santa Catarina,
Brazil. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to share the stage with respected musicians, such as Kiko Loureiro, Sidnei Carvalho, Arthur Maia, Mozart Mello, Mauro Senise, Kiko Freitas, Victor Biglione, Hermeto Pascoal and many others. Currently Marco Oliveira works in production and arrangements for national bands and artists, as well as giving courses and workshops on Guitar and Harmony & Improvisation.
