MARCO G. PINNA ,Lead guitarrist and composer of "SES CORDAS".
In the 1980's he relocates to Vienna, touring in Europe and playing in the best jazz clubs .
In the late ‘80s he relocates to Milan(Italy) and there he collaborates with Giorgio Strehler as a rock guitarist in “Faust”opera at Piccolo Teatro of Milan.
In the ‘90s he becomes a well known guitar teacher.
Among his students : Matt Treasure(Jigoku no Akutou-Tokio Night) and Bote(Crookers).
1994 joins the rap metal band “Essenza”.
In the 2000's he starts on to tour with his own acoustic band“Marco Pinna Guitar Quartet” and published the cd, “Guitar Quartet”
In 2005 he is on the road with Enrico Beretta (Octopus) and flamenco guitarrist Paolo Canola.At last Marco meets Roberto Diana , a joung guitar player from Sardinia (Marco comes from there too) .
It’s the beginning of Ses Cordas, acoustic duo.
In 2008 they published the cd “Mediterranean Journey”

Ciao Marco, grazie per aver accettato l'amicizia. Vorrei ricambiare con un piccolo omaggio ....... ricordi???? Correva l'anno 1969 e quattro ragazzini oristanesi si erano impegnati a formare un gruppo musicale che chiamarono Classe di Ferro (CDF) : Marco Pinna (chitarra e voce), Stefano Oppo (piano e organo), Antonio Sardu (batteria) e Massimo Tore (basso). Ogni tanto le prove venivano fatte a casa mia dove c'era il pianoforte ed io, ragazzino di otto anni, ascoltavo con piacere e interesse. Chi avrebbe mai pensato che due di quei ragazzi (Marco e Massimo) avrebbero poi intrapreso la carriera musicale con successi e affermazioni di assoluto rilievo in ambito internazionale? Certo le premesse c'erano tutte ed io ne ho le prove......... Ho scovato in soffitta il vecchio registratore a bobine di papà con dentro un nastro che, nel riascoltarlo, mi ha regalato una forte emozione: l'audio delle prove del brano "jumpin jack flash" con i nostri quattro della CDF ai loro albori. La qualità è certamente da correlare alla data (40 anni fa) e agli strumenti utilizzati per la registrazione ma si può cogliere appieno la freschezza e l'entusiasmo dell'esecuzione.
