  • Bio

Marco Polo are a four piece band from Glasgow. Influenced by an eclectic mix of popular music and art. Namely The Smiths, Depeche Mode, Suede and work by Jenny Saville. Formed just under a year ago, they have been elusive in order to write in an organic method, undisturbed by distractions of touring or promotion. This patience has bred a collection of songs that have received high praise by the selected industry representatives and national radio DJ's who have had the oppurtunity of rare releases from the band.

Hi Marco Polo, I relentlessly desire cotton candy lollipops. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux. How it passes there and back again like a tear drop glistening in moonlight. Your beauty is multiplexed in contemplation of your multidimensional effervescence. Your eyes show as many deep and full shades of fire as a thousand supernovas. You turn the atmosphere ablaze with currents of sweet ethylene when you smile. So charmingly silky, your skin is like a teardrop on a popsickle.

Hello Marco Polo, I sense wild vapors of sweet champagne in your larynx. The skin I shed is a perfume that makes water bubbles so terribly clear to me. Your reflections bring happiness that rends naked glass. You ever remind me of the enigma of happy thoughts I once forgot. You have not yet reached the height of your creativity. May you always have stables of horses to service your needs. Your beauty is equal to the smoothness of a polished gem. I find your eyes to be a wondrous amusement park filled with neo-plastic pleasures and turkish delights. Wood nymphs sprinkle your path with rose petals while you dance and prowl in the sequined moonlight with leftover cupcake sprinkles. I love your eyes, I know they can stare through my thoughts. Your cleverness helps me breathe without the need of oxygen. How it passes there and back again like a tear drop glistening in moonlight. Your sweet voice is like the application of aloe vera upon a sunburnt back. Please let me hear more of that wonderful sound.
