Graphic artist born in Ibiza in 1973 and qualified in advertising drawing, graphic design and photography.
His professional career started in 1994, as he finished his latest studies, working in many design studios until he established himself as an independent artist in 1999.
After creating in 2001 a brand by which his designs were first introduced (Pollymagoo), he decided to close down the project (despite the enormous success it achieved) in order to create a new one with a more open, artistic and personal approach: The Pop Series, The Funky Series and The Rock Serieswere born. In these three T-shirt thematic collections, created and cared one by one from its design until its printing as little artistic pieces, the artist pours his personal visual universe, which is characterized by a strong link with the music world as well as the Pop mythology, its vibrant colours and the passion they achieve communicating the spectator.
The artist’s T-shirt collections have an extremely loyal and enthusiastic public, thanks to whom every new collection has become a success, making the T-shirts constantly sold out.
Firm defender of the popular character of art, the artist likes to continuously break the border between art and design, therefore his work can be found either in artistic screenprintings or in T-shirts. His screenprints collections with limited and numbered pieces have been shown in several exhibitions in Ibiza, Madrid, Brighton, Santiago, Palma de Majorca and they can also be found in the virtual exhibition of marcostorres.com.
In his screenprints, as well as in his T-shirts, the artist exhibits a personal and deliberately fantastic world, dominated by the cult of colour and the visual impact.
Through an style which tries to be powerful and sensual, his characters seem to always find the appropriate way to captivate the spectator and to attract him towards the inside of the work. At the same time, the artist has been diversifying his work by designing record covers (Magic Bus, Peter Colours, Zinedines, Gigolo Aunts), logotypes (Bip-Bip Records, El Agente Naranja...), creating the image of musical events (Euroyeyé, October In rain, This is the Modern World...), book covers (Violeta en el Cielo con Diamantes) and signing the design of the latest official T-shirts of the Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao.

Artista gráfico nacido en Ibiza en el 73, y formado en dibujo publicitario, diseño gráfico y fotografía.
Su trayectoria profesional comenzó en 1994, año en que finalizó sus últimos estudios, trabajando en numerosos estudios de diseño hasta establecerse en 1999 como artista independiente.
Tras crear en 2001 una marca (Pollymagoo) bajo la cual dar a conocer inicialmente sus diseños, y a pesar del enorme éxito obtenido, decide cerrar el proyecto para crear otro con un enfoque más abierto, artístico y personal. Nacen “The Pop Series”, “The Funky Series” y “The Rock Series". En estas tres colecciones temáticas de camisetas, concebidas y cuidadas una a una desde su diseño hasta su estampación como pequeñas piezas artísticas, el artista vuelca su particular universo visual, caracterizándose por un fuerte vínculo con el mundo de la música y la mitología Pop, sus vibrantes colores y la pasión que logran transmitir al espectador.
Las colecciones de camisetas de Marcos Torres cuentan con un público extremadamente fiel y entusiasta, gracias al cual cada nueva colección se ha convertido en un éxito, haciendo que las camisetas se agoten continuamente.
Firme defensor del carácter “popular” del arte, el artista gusta de diluir continuamente la frontera que separa el arte del diseño, por lo que su obra puede encontrarse indistintamente estampada en serigrafías para colgar en la pared o en camisetas para vestir.
Sus colecciones de obra gráfica en serigrafía, con piezas limitadas y numeradas, se han mostrado en exposiciones en Ibiza, Madrid, Brighton, Santiago, Palma de Mallorca… y se pueden encontrar en galerías de arte y en la exposición virtual (con fiesta de inauguración permanente) de marcostorres.com.
En sus serigrafías, al igual que en las camisetas, Marcos Torres exhibe un mundo particular y deliberadamente fantástico, dominado por el culto al color y el impacto visual. A través de una estética que trata de resultar poderosa y sensual, sus personajes parecen encontrar siempre el arma adecuada para seducir al espectador y atraerlo hacia el interior de la obra.
Paralelamente, el artista ha ido diversificando su trabajo diseñando portadas de discos (Magic Bus, Peter Colours, Zinedines, Gigolo Aunts), logotipos (Bip-Bip Records, El Agente Naranja...), creando la imagen de eventos musicales (Euroyeyé, October In rain, This is the Modern World...) , portadas de libros (Violeta en el Cielo con Diamantes) y firmando, entre otras cosas, el diseño de las últimas camisetas oficiales del museo Guggenheim de Bilbao.
