Nascido no Rio de Janeiro, Marcos Vianna é guitarrista, compositor, produtor, técnico de gravação e proprietário do MV. Studio. Começou sua carreira como guitarrista da primeira banda independente do RJ, Flávio Y Spirito Santo, com 2 Lps e turnês pelo país. O seu primeiro trabalho como produtor e compositor foi com sua irmã Malu Vianna participando do Lp Rock Voador e do movimento Blues/Rock dos anos 80 com músicas na Rádio Fluminense Alternativa e com apresentações em locais como Circo Voador. Trabalhou para RCA ,WEA e Top Tape .Produziu artistas como, Jorge Mautner e Celso Blues Boy. Atualmente tem o Groove N' Bossa como trabalho solo e é contratado da firma inglesa Quantitum Solutions e participa do On The Rocks Band
GROOVE N' BOSSA:
Criado a 2 anos e liderado pelo guitarrista e produtor Marcos Vianna, Groove n’Bossa é um grupo instrumental que faz uma proposta de fusão da música orgânica com a eletrônica, sugerindo parcerias como as de Ary Barroso e Jimi Hendrix ,no arranjo de Na Baixa do Sapateiro, Luis Bonfá e Santana em Manhã de Carnaval, e também mixando novos ritmos em clássicos como Água de Beber, conseguindo transpor as barreiras rítmicas sem perder as raízes. No repertório do cd, composições de Tom Jobim, Menescal e Boscoly,Gilberto Gil ,Jorge Benjor e composições próprias.
GROOVE N' BOSSA (IN ENGLISH):
Conceived in Rio de Janeiro late 2004, Groove n' Bossa are 3 musicians and a dj coming together fusing their ideas and rhythms.
Coming from very different musical backgrounds of both street style and stadium rock sound, the band are benefit from both energy in youth and experience in years.
Their music is a heady mix of the best of Brazilian styles. MPB (a popular Brazilian form) Bossa Nova and Samba combine with more contemporary rhythms, drum and bass and house music. Contemporizing and advancing the 60’s incepted Bossa sound with samples and saxophone, audiences quickly succumb to the catchy rhythms and goodtime sunshine vibe.
Audience attention is captured with their stylised versions of songs as diverse as Tom Jobim/Vinicius de Morais ‘Agua de Beber’ and the Doors ‘Light my Fire’, interwoven with their own original numbers.
