About MARCUS RICHARDSON Melodic Rock

Hi, Im Marcus, a guitarist and music tutor based in Southampton in the south of England. I have been playing guitar, writing music and performing in bands for more than 10 years. Since gaining my BA hons in Music/Popular Music in 2004 I have given lessons to over 80 students. In addition to playing guitar I play keyboards as a second instrument.

Most of the gigs I play are with Hard Rock and Classic Rock bands. This project is where I explore my musical influences and songwriting with a fresh perspective.

Bren	Sep 6 2009 11:26 PM Hi Marcus, Well there are no words to really tell this tale of a man who met his woman Mary, also in music, and together changed the face of rock and roll forever! Yours was one of the best tributes of the many I've read and I could tell how much heart you put into it and to not say something is rude! Small world even on here indeed! hahaha It's quite amazing to me I've met so many who also turn out to be friends of some of my good or top friends etc and the chain just keeps on keeping on! I haven't spoken to Andy since I asked for an add but we did chat a bit at first as apparently Ryo has said some really nice things about me! He is a wonderful guitar player and such a nice man. Have you ever heard of Tom Dowd? If not Google him and read some amazing things about this music pioneer!!! One truth is that is it weren't for Tom The Allman Brothers Band would not be what there are today as it was Tom who discovered them while riding down the street in Macon, Georgia I believe, by Capricorn studios and did a U turn in his car and went to see who the hell was playing this music!! We have much common, so we both quite Deadpan at same time. He was helping one band which currently Ghost Train's another guitarist and bassist project. But Since I joined there he became fully main member with me. Well, I'm not sure that he still has Roland stuffs cos I've never seen them since I met him. Taliking about my solo project will be off due to having bussy time with a band project. 2nd and 3rd songs on ghost train project are originally created by me. So these will be sounding familier for you I guess. Cos you know my guitar style then! Keepin' touch and see you one day in somewhere in the UK! Thanks Ryo

Thy Celtic Cross	Jul 19 2009 7:35 PM Hi! Pleased to present the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her.
