THE HEAT "THE CELEBRATION" 12" VINYL RELEASE OUT NOW - NEWS DISTRIBUTION BELGIUM: DIGITAL DOWNLOAD DEC 10th 2007 CAT No LIWM003
- Love Is War Music, specialist Electro Disco New Funk label's 3rd release visits the sunny shores of Australia this time. After the critically acclaimed LIWM002 release Ilija Rudman "After Midnight". With the very much up and coming Sydney-based electro funk act The Heat.
Already making a big name for themselves as DJs, and with their infamous live shows across their native Australia, not to mention their own babe-drenched Sydney party night "Roof Top Party". They have also recently remixed Australia's biggest and most successful dance act Sneaky Sound System's new single "Goodbye" and it’s their mix people are going crazy for.
Their debut single "The Celebration" sees them visit a more European influenced new funk / vocoded electro house sound. A cross between Daft Punk and New Order that will please purists as well as honest head-bangers. Remix action comes from 20/20 Vision's The Hague-based new funksters Bumper, bringing in a remix of Prince funk-crushing proportions that literately blows you off your high heels with a seven-minute orgy of live bass/guitar and huge percussion sounds which any fan of Bumper's huge hit on 20/20 'Cosmopolitan Lover' will absolutely love. To finish off the package, Renaissance resident Kid Circus delivers a minimal disco remix that will add a flavour for the minimal minded E's-are-good crowd.
