Desde que el Prestige se hunde en las costas gallegas ,en la mente de un grupo de jovenes ourensanos se forma la idea de crear un grupo de música reivindicativo.
No es hasta navidades de2006 cuando el grupo coge forma y comienzan
a tocar en directo.Marea Negra es un grupo que cambio mucho a lo largo de este tiempo. Aunque el gusto musical de sus componentes va desde el jazz hasta el metal Marea Negra(Marea Negra Sound System o MN) surgió como un grupo de fusión musical,moviendose principalmente por el ska,reggae,punk y funk.Sus letras son reivindicativas(que no panfletarias) y sus canciones en bastantes ocasiones sencillas (que no simplistas).
Su último miembro,Carlitos,entro al año de que se formara el grupo dando un toque de color a este.
Su principal objetivo:Pasarselo bien,hacer amigos y aprender de los demás.
Su principal idea:ser únicos e incomparables.Be a Maco Men.
Helo, Marea Negra. I hope things are going well. I’m here to present you a new ethnical remix (called "Testamento Da Árbore") with influences of house music produced for the folk band “Coanhadeira”. Real instruments like bagpipes, acoustic guitars and other classical sounds played by the band are included. The track is sung in "gallego", a particlar languaje similar to Portuguesse that's spoken where me and this band are living. I have received the final master of ‘On The Groove’ (included in this maxi) from Madrid (it was masterized by an old member from Deepblue Records UK) and now it is available in my player. This track was made 2 years ago and It was uploaded (and, later, removed from my player) to myspace long time ago aswel. Everything well? :-)I’ve been experimenting a bit with my music in the last weeks and, this time, the Northamerican male singer Jon Davidson (www. myspace. com/jondavidsonmusic) has given me the chance to remix his track ‘Hermit Crab’. Jon is a rock singer so I think the best thing I could do is making a kind of breakbeat style mixed with my classical trance and electro music. I haven’t produced thinking about dancefloors this time (strange cos I’m a dj but it’s a bit hard to dance at 105 bpm, hehe):-P Anyway, I’m looking forward to read your feedbacks, good or bad to keep on improving my style in the future. Helo, how are you? After a long time without making melodic trance, now I'm back on this style again so here I present you a new, of course, melodic tune called 'A Better World' featured by the great male singer WaveScape ( www. myspace. com/omeedtaheri - Thanks Wave for this collaboration! ) ;-) I'm working hard in my productions and promoting my career as a dj aswel in this moment.
