About Marek Kubala

Born and raised in Huddersfield (near Leeds), of Polish descent. Learnt to finger-pick. Spent three years in Liverpool as a Bugged Out regular. lots of meetings. Currently resides in North London.

marek's solo singles 'Before You Go' and 'Honolulu' were released by Manchester-based Viral Music in 2006.

under the guises kubala, pervs & pervs and silent running, marek has remixed acts such as Diefenbach, Do Me Bad Things, Twisted Charm, Annie, Napsugar & Frau-Doktor working with leading electronic, indie and major labels such as wall of sound, beautycase (berlin), atlantic, 679 and 1234 records. his mixes have been championed by Radio 1's Rob Da Bank, Xfm's James Hyman, twice reaching the top 10 of Pete Tong's Buzz Chart, and shared 12"s with the likes of simian mobile disco and minotaur shock.
