Margaret MacDonald grew up in San Francisco surrounded by R&B, pop, folk and classical music, and her songwriting reflects all of these influences. The result is an intermingling of poetic lyrics, beautiful melodies and chord changes that gather the listener into the very fabric of her songs. The warm and pure tones of her voice convey the emotions running through each song, with occasional vocal harmonies completing the perfect blend.
