Hello Marg, thanks for your support and becoming a new friend it means a great deal to me. You have created an exceptional space through your music and I enjoyed listening to “Mag's Groove”. OUTSTANDING!! Please take a listen to my music and let me know what you think. Have a fantastic weekend filled with music and joy. Best of luck on your European tour. Danielle
Thanks for dropping by! I was getting dinner the other day and found myself bopping around the house and singing"mag's Groove" to myself - it's very groovy and the melody is so strong it just sticks in my head. I love it. Yes, I have one samba track partially complete - a sort of hyrbrid arrangement of Manha de Carnaval. I love the nara Leao arrangement and I love the Baden Powell arrangement so I sort of stitched them together and that's what I play. Just have to pester my recalcitrant singer (and wife) into laying down her vocal track). Have a couple of other tracks on the way too - a rootsy/blugrass kind of thing that's almost done and a pop song that's a co-write with a yung local songwriter. Trying to get both of those two finished and mixed before end of June. I'll send you a message as soon as I hav one of the new tracks up. It's very sweet of you to stop by! Hope things are going great for you. peace. b.
Thanks so much for that add! If you are every looking for something to do on a Tuesday night please be my guest at Bar 703 (703 College St W 2nd Floor, above the Pizza Nova) For a great night of Blues and R'n'B with Section 8 Rhythm and Blues Band. I hope to see you there someday.
Hello, Margaret! Thank you for the add. I've gone through your page, which I have offered the possibility of scheduling a concert yours, for 3 or 4 September, in the small club for which I work. I love the idea. Your music I feel fresh, elegant, and it would be a luxury and pleasure to have you on our stage. I will work on it, and I hope soon to have our news. A greeting.
