Maria Dolores is a musical collective based in New York City, bringing together and pushing the boundaries of Latin, world, roots, and hip-hop styles. We embrace a global cosmopolitanism, rejecting traditional concepts of “band” and “genre” to make our music the way we live our lives – always moving, always seeking, always reinforcing one another’s creativity.
Maria Dolores is the brainchild of Producer/Songwriter Luis Burgos, who grew up with a Dominican mother and a Puerto Rican father in Puerto Rico and El Bronx, New York. An ever-expanding cast of characters brings their own journeys into the Maria Dolores mix, exploring new musical themes and lyrical content while staying grounded in the traditions of their ancestors. Singer/Songwriter Storm delivers sultry, seductive vocals on tracks like “Kamasutra” and “Enamorada” Rapper Enemigo’s clever turns of phrase bring a playful street sensibility full of double-entendres to tracks like “Caña” . Singer Natalie Ferraro will break your heart on “Eramos,” while percussion maven Junior mixes it up on all the Maria Dolores tracks. Who will be the next contributor to Maria Dolores? Only fate will tell us.
Somos puertorriquenos, dominicanos, and other heritages, all looking to express our creativity in new ways. Come and join us!

I apologize if I have not already welcomed you to the Latinas Support Group. This is a group I designed to connect us Latinas to support each other as friends. This is something I do personally and has nothing to do with my business. It's very casual, full of info. There's a Yahoo group as well where we can interact with each other. About 35 women who talk to each other via email, share life experiences, advice, opinions, goals, etc. Let me know if you are interested in joining that. I will need your email address. Send it to nathalieramirez@yahoo.com.
