Hey everyone. I go by the name Maria Sklodowska-Curie. I am from Warsaw, Poland. I am happily married and have wonderful children. I grew up a poor Polish girl, one would think thats impossible with the accomplishments under my belt. Much of my work and accomplishments however would not have been possible without my older sister Bronya and my loving husband Pierre. Some of my recognition include two Nobel Prizes in which I have been the only female to earn such an award. My research and discoveries of Polonium and Radium gained the advancemnt of chemistry and is what I am remembered for today.
