About me:
Mariah Christie was born in Sassuolo near Modena (Italy) on the 2nd October. She graduated in foreign trade and after the school she attended some courses of languages to improve her linguistic knowledges (English, French, Spanish and German). In the same period she began taking lessons of piano and song, writing her first songs. It's in this period she began collaborating with the Italian recording company DWA. Thanks to her great passion for music she founded the "DWA Magazine" a magazine dedicated to the "dance" artists produced by the homonym label (Double you, Ice Mc, Alexia.....). She often went abroad to draw new inspirations, to find new musical collaborations and to grow as artist. She travelled in Europe (Paris, Vienna, Austria, London, Prague, Côte d'azur, Costa Brava in Spain, Barcelona, Holland) in America (New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Mexico, Miami and Key West) and she's been even to Australia (Perth, Monkey Mia, Melbourne, Sydney, Cairns, Green Island),Hong Kong and Argentina (Buenos Aires, Peninsula Valdes, Ushuaia, El Calafate). Her stays in USA were very important, in particular her stay in Miami, where she drew the inspiration to write one of the most beautiful songs of hers. She introduced the song-piece to the Italian producer Theo Spagna, who was enthusiast and he decided to produce the singer with the name of Lisa Bee with the energy song "High on Devotion" (Mariah Christie only sang the song giving her voice). The song, produced by Theo Spagna and S. Dall'Ora, went out in Japan and reached a great succes arriving at number 5 of the Top 50 of that year (2001). Mariah keeps on writing songs and she starts studying portuguese. On the 8th of December 2006 the new single "Say you love me" goes out, it's a ballad with an international touch.In the meantime it will be founded the fan club that it will get organized by Max Ciambotti (he worked for the official fan club of the Italian singers Spagna and Irene Grandi). It will be created also a site www.webalice.it/mariahchristie where the fans can write and read all the information concerning the artist.The single "Say you love me" reach the hearts of people and some web-radio start playing the new single.
