I am currently a Freshman at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, majoring in computer engineering. I just wrapped up my third semester and am looking forward to getting far enough into my schooling to look forward to class. At the rate I am going I should have my masters in roughly 4.5 years.
I have a daughter, she is in kindergarten. She certainly seems to be having a great time. She loves reading and learning new things.
I was born and raised in Fairbanks, but I am looking forward to moving as soon as I graduate. Right now I am thinking Chicago or Seattle, but I have not completely made up my mind yet.
Who I'd like to meet: Richard Stallman, Corey Taylor
Dear friend Mariah, June 17 is a fantastic chance for every Free Software supporter to make a huge buzz around the new Free Software browser: Firefox 3.0. It will be the official date for the launch of the new version, and after that the Mozilla Foundation will show the Guiness World Record judges the logs of the downloads so they will validate them as the world record for the most software downloads in 24 hours! You can also organize Download Fests, take and publish video and photographic footage, create social networks around the event.... unleash your imagination ;-) More info here. Spread the word and let's make it a huge world event!
