Based out of Los Angeles, CA, designer Marialia Pacitto has been designing with a strong passion and interest in fashion since the beginning of time. Starting her own self-titled company at the young age of sixteen, this born-designer's strong desire and will to make a name in the industry showed immensely. Without any formal training or stepping foot inside a classroom for design or sew, this self-taught designer proves that this truly is a natural talent.
Marialia Pacitto grew up in both Italy and Los Angeles. Being exposed to two entirely different fashion worlds gave the designer a very different and unique outlook on fashion. Pacitto has always been about breaking the trend; strongly believing that at heart, fashion should be about the art, and not just a collection of trendy garments. Pacitto states: "In today's world, it is so hard to see the diversity of fashion and develop appreciation for it due to all the trends shown on the runway. This is why I believe that real fashion is something that lies within the depths of creativity. It is not something that everyone would want to wear; breaking the fine line in the fashion world between something generic and something unique."
