SB-Noticias.- El Centro de la Cultura Popular Canaria, así como diversos intelectuales e instituciones canarias, solicitan la concesión del Premio Ondas al “Mejor Programa de Radio” al espacio “Tiempo Abierto”, considerado como uno de los mejores programas de la radiodifusión canaria. A punto de cumplirse tres lustros de su nacimiento, permanece en las ondas isleñas, dando ejemplo de radio elaborada que ha sabido combinar acertadamente el guión clásico con la improvisación más actual.

Maria Marín (Jerez de la Frontera) presenta su creación musical más reciente: "CoplaJazz" , música popular que el jazz conquista para sí, junto al pianista y arreglista Tato Icasto (Buenos Aires).
María aporta a este proyecto su visión de la copla y nos descubre a una artista sofisticada y romántica en su voz, dulcemente andaluza, consciente, descriptiva, fresca y siempre hermosa.
Tato contribuye, a su vez con su interpretación del Jazz y sus raíces tangueras.
Juntos visitan los clásicos y convierten la música popular española en música del mundo, confiriéndole frescura sin perder la raíz de ambos estilos.
