Although I started out as a classical harpist on the pedal harp in the 1970s, it's the Celtic harp that is my true voice. I've been playing Celtic or folk harp for more than a decade, and in 2004 decided to turn professional.
I'm currently working on my first CD, tentatively titled "Songs Under My Pillow" and regularly perform all over the Denver metro area. Live performances in 2008 included the Colorado Irish Festival, the Colorado Scottish Festival, the Ravenshire Renaissance and Pirate Faire (Palisade, Colo) and as a performer for Celtic Yuletide Celebration, a Christmas Renaissance play.
I also do weddings, parties, receptions, benefits and other special occasions. A harp lends a special feeling to any event; contact me to learn how.
Hey! Just wanted to stop by and say hello and see how you were doing. It has been a while . . . no internet at home since my computer crashed and I haven't been able to replace it yet. Hope you are enjoying your summer. :)
Several of the news sources incorrectly reported that we were all on the bus, when in fact it was just Christian. He had rented it out to the Denver band Savage Henry for a week, and was driving them around on the tour when the crash happened in Kansas City. The rest of us have been here in Denver the whole time, and you probably heard about all of this before I did.
Chris has some broken bones and won't be able to play for a few months, but he should be coming home tomorrow. I'm outraged that the inept media coverage has subjected so many friends and family to needless worry, but thanks so much for posting.
And PM me your phone number; I just got a new cell phone, and need to update everything :)
