Sounds Like
Actually the only person I have ever thought I sounded like is Jan Krist.
But I have been told that I reminded people of (in no particualr order)
early Jewel, Sheryl Crow, Aimee Mann, Jennifer Knapp, Over the Rhine, Natalie Merchant, Sarah McLachlan, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Stevie Nicks, Judy Collins...
and most recently in a new review, Edie Brickell & Nanci Griffith.
What if Joni Mitchell got together with Leonard Cohen for a writing session at the coffeehouse where Counting Crows and Neil Young were playing, Jan Krist was singing, Tori & Fionna were pouting, Over The Rhine & Aimee Mann opened, and Santana stopped by to play some smokin' guitar... yeah, it sounds something like that...
Marianne Kesler is a singer-songwriter, creating music from the inside out,
and deeply immersed in living out her dreams. Marianne's new music has been described as "intelligent pop rock with experimental qualities & folk sensibilities". When not out touring, she is most likely home writing songs, poetry, and prose in her loft space where she lives with her husband John.

Gympie is about a 3-hr drive further north-east from where we currently live. It's only about 45 minutes from the coast (whereas Crow's Nest is 2 and a half hrs from the coast). Both Gympie and Crow's Nest are about a 2-hour drive from the city of Brisbane where my side of the family lives. It's about 1 hour further north from where you did your last gig in Buderim.
