Marianne Sierk's Interests
General
Things that interest me:
Long beaches that walk, hanging around drunk people, napping, almost getting parts on TV, Luna bars, mini bottles of booze, stumbling upon large sums of money in the street, time travel, spying on people and gaining weight.
Music
Mamas and the Papas, Eagles, Steve Miller Band, The Shins, creepy piano music, Modest Mouse, that song "Starry Eyed Surprise", Caren Carpenter, my friend Steve's mix CD's, Bluegrass (mostly just the fiddle stuff) and ABBA. And this inspirational song:
Movies
Dancer in the Dark, Taxi Driver, Cabaret, Grey Gardens, Mermaids, Practical Magic, Boogie Nights, The Secret, and Cum Sluts 4.

Intervention, For the Love of Dolly, Super Nanny, Wife Swap, Sweet 16, The Soup, Bills games (only when they're in the Superbowl), Three's Company
Books
She's Come Undone, On the Road, We Were the Mulveney's (spelled wrong probs), The Bell Jar, The Dictionary, biographies of old Hollywood stars, Wiccan spell books, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Screenwriting, Practical Magic, and Conversations with God.
Heroes
John Fogherty. Bless him. Um....and firemen? And policemen - right? Aren't they supposed to be everyone's hero's or you're considered un-patriotic?
About me: Hmph. A summary of ME? I dunno. I'm a comic. From Manhattan - originally from Rochester, NY, where the sun rarely shines and pizza and beer flow like.....beer. Coffee makes me nervous, but I drink it anyways. My days fly by doing....I don't even know what. Stuff like this? Writing profiles on some random....friend site? I e-mail people and check out websites, and drink coffee and do yoga, and go to Target ALOT. I travel for comedy often, so making travel arrangements is really consuming - and I worry about money for a large portion of my day. This is just today, though and next week I'll read this and think I'll need to change it. For the most part, I'm just waiting. My website says it best at MarianneSierk.com
Who I'd like to meet: Cal Ripken. Because I've heard his name and am not sure what he does, but suspect he is, or was, involved in baseball or sports of some kind. He could be a player now, or a legend that's dead - I'm not sure - I'm just vaguely aware of him. I'd like to say "Hi! I've heard of you through the years and wanted to know about you" Once he tells me I'd be like, "Right! That's what I totally thought!" or "Oh! I thought you might have been....." whatever. Then I'd make up some excuse as to why I couldn't chat any longer and try to get out of making more small talk.
Happy Thanksgiving Marianne Sierk. A holiday were family travel thousands of miles to be with their loved only once a year. And then discover once a year is way too often.
Awesome, can't wait to see you. Matt Owens and I will be there Friday. Hopefully if you have time after we can grab a drink, catch up, and talk about old times. See you tomorrow.

When is Marianne going to play George Mason University? It'll be a micro-AQ reunion. Even Danny Waldo would come down from the ROC for that. Hope all is well.
I'm so glad you got the part. You deserve it. I only got them to see you but believe me Sierk, if you didn't 'wow' them they never would have given it to you. I knew you could do it! Vac
Sierk! Looks like my deal is a go! 'They' loved the script. Listen, I told 'them' about you and we all think that you are right for that part that I told you about, so an audition is coming soon. I hope that you feel better in case they call. Vac
We wouldn’t forget your birthday. Even though we’re busy making people laugh, there’s always time to say: HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! From Mitch & the Crew @ Comedy Under Construction
Happy Birthday 10 Sip Lay-Day - You were ON FIRE the other night - I was CRYING and am still laughing just thinking about it! Hope you have an awesome day :)
Happy birthday Marianne! I’ll never forget the time when we were gambling at that casino and you dared me to walk around in that thong while singing “Baby Got Back.” That was crazy - I had never been pepper-sprayed so fast in my entire life! You need to send me a copy of the video sometime.
