Well, not quite!
Jokes aside, I've been writing and performing my own music since I was 16 and had collaborations with some great artists such as my good friends Suns of Thunder (Suns of Bitches!!), Hip-hop legends, Headcase Ladz, my Bloody-Valentine-alikes - Shy Magnolias etcetera etceteraaa. I've also had the honour of supporting some pretty great bands such as Marillion, Chuck Prophet, Jackie Leven, Thea Gilmore (lovely lass!), the occasional show with Whole Lotta Led, and Ozric Tentacles. Also, played some very cool gigs and festivals all over the UK including the odd appearance at Glastonbury, The Cork Festival plus Severn Revels etcetera.
My favourite artists include Johnny Cash, Red Sparrows, Neil Young, Tool, Pixies, Pumpkins, Sebadoh, Massive Attack, G Love and Special Sauce, Rahzel.. quite lovin Joanna Newsom right now, along with Lethargy, Headcase Ladz, Suns, Prosperina: Goddess of the Underworld, Lews Tunes, Deus, Arcade Fire and lovin Beth Ditto from The Gossip - she fucking ROCKS!
I play live solo shows, both acoustic and electric. Currently recording my first ever album entitled 'Not Them', eleven songs made with guest artists from bands such as Suns, Lethargy, Prosperina and Headcase Ladz. I am one lucky girl to be working with these incredible musicians. Just check out my top friends.
