March 30, 2009 saw the release of her debut album, “The Plan”, in Denmark. Maria Timm has already played the Roskilde Festival, received tons of air play on national broadcasted radio and the P3 Gold Awards (Danish National Radio award) nominated her as the “P3-talent of the year”. Equipped with enough musical experience to conquer the Himalaya of treble clefs and charisma, Maria Timm is now ready to reach the top up up up.
"The Plan" contains 14 tracks of pure dancing madness. Imagine if Swedish “electrokåmpisar” and the 80s electro elite moved to Jylland in Denmark and started jamming together... Insane thought, I know, but it is a good way to describe how Maria Timm sounds. This is Updated 80's new romanticism with smart electronics and Scandinavian drama. Think a ballsy The Knife meets The Rapture with female vocals.

hejsa ville bare sige at mine ven og jeg håber helt vildt at i spiller nogle flere koncerter på sjæland igen fordi vi syntes det er top fedt musik i laver så vi dukkker helt sikkert op vis i spille på sjæland kh fra pernille
Programmet til Nye rødder 09 er klar. Ambitionsniveauet er højnet men vi forbliver i samme hyggelige lokaler i Magstræde.
Vi glæder os til Howe Gelb og Giant Sand, Tony Scherr, Islandske ólöf Arnalds, og ikke mindst hvad der kan blive den bedste koncert overhovedet i efteråret The Whale watching tour (Sam Amidon, Valgeir Sigurdsson,Ben Frost, Nico Muhly + gæster). Hver især er de 4 verdenskendt for deres arbejde med Antony and the johnsons, Grizzly bear, Bonnie prince billy, Björk og mange flere nu spiller de for første gang sammen på dansk grund.
Ud over de udenlandske navne spiller bla. Robot feat. Claus Hempler Slaraffenland Er de Sjældne The rumour said fire Cody og mange flere......
