    Marie has had several songs and poems published , she received The Editor's Choice Award in 1996 for a poetry contribution in '' Voices On The Wind '', was nominated for Poet Of The Year in 1997 by The International Society Of Poets , she has done many song projects and is a member of ASCAP and MCPS. In 2002 and 2003 Marie was a finalist in The UK Songwriting Contest with her song '' My Heart Is Breaking In Two '', she was a semi- finalist in 2007 and 2008 scoring 7 out of 10 in the Lyrics only Category .
