About me: The Marietta Museum of History is one of Marietta's unique treasures. The museum is located on the second floor of the Historic Kennesaw House, a structure built in 1845.
Highlights of the museum include a Military Gallery, Civil War Relics, a Civil War-era Hotel Room and Native American History. Gun collectors will be impressed with our extensive collection of guns from the War of 1812 through today's conflict. Baby Boomers will enjoy a walk down memory lane when they tour our 1940s kitchen exhibit. Located just steps off the Marietta Square, the museum is a perfect afternoon activity for visitors to take in along with lunch at one of the many restaurants around the square and shopping. Admission is $5/Adults;
$3/Seniors and Students; Museum Members and children under 6 are Free.
Hours are 10 am - 4 pm Mon-Sat. Call for holiday hours.
