Marilyn usually performs as a solo act, but is sometimes joined by guitar guru Graham Duncan. When she records, the musicians of Art Rock band Radiophonic usually join her. The line-up for her latest album Departures featured fiddler/songwriter Gina Forsyth (fiddle) and Radiophonic members Brian Aldsworth (Acoustic and Electric Guitar), Graham Duncan (Electric Guitar and Vocals), Michael Patrick Galante (drums), and Daniel Loyd, (bass and percussion).

Singer/songwriter Marilyn Duncan began her folksinging career in Austin Texas in the late 60s, sharing the stage with Allan Damron, Carol Hadine and Townes Van Zandt at the 11th Door in Austin Texas. The songs that filled the years that followed, in Texas, Nova Scotia and Maryland, were recorded in her CD: Old Friends and Lovers, released in 2000 by Soona Songs. Joining her on that project were Harry Daily (bass), Graham Duncan (electric guitar) and Michael Patrick Galante (drums and percussion).

Thank you very much for your friendship! I think we are contemporaries; I started playing guitar and writing songs in the late '60s and started performing in the mid-'70s. I hope you get a chance to listen to some of my songs.
Your voice has a crystal clarity to it that I admire. I love the lyrics, melodies, and guitar work especially well on "Big Blue Heron" and "Safe Passage." I am so glad I discovered your music!
We enjoyed seeing your show recently. We would have of stayed longer. We were afraid our crew was going to destroy the place. Brave Combo is coming to town at the end of the month.
