Chi sono: My two passions in life are music and movies. I cannot imagine life without either. The two albums that changed my life were 'Ropin' the Wind' by Garth Brooks and 'American Idiot' by Green Day.***
I am obsessed with coffee and diet coke.***
I am left-handed therefore have a strong creative side. I write songs, poetry, draw and love photography. I think that art is a beautiful thing. The creation of something is to be greatly admired.***
I am an over-analyser who tries to see the beauty in our world. I love the smell of musty old books and freshly cut grass. I love shopping but I also love historical buildings and museums and am obsessed with the past.***
I have never been in love. I haven't met my soul mate yet (if there is such a thing). I think that talent can make someone more attractive. American accents make me melt. I have a weakness for strong, creative guys. Usually musicians. On a physical level I am attracted to black hair, brown eyes and endearing traits like a lop-sided grin. I need someone who can protect me (I'm no woman's lib!) and make me feel safe, someone I can talk to on an intellectual level but also someone I can be stupid with, someone who is my best friend and shares my sense of humour.***
I am a mass of contradictions. I like picnics and walks in the countryside but I also like shopping and gigs. I love white cotton dresses and black eyeliner. I am a mix of emotions and thoughts. My bedroom reflects who I am. It is a combination of classic Hollywood/Marilyn Monroe/Audrey Hepburn and modern rock/guitars/skulls. I like to collect things. I am proud of my vast CD and DVD collections.***
I love clothes. I have a dress and skirt obsession. I also love lipgloss and black eyeliner. My favourite perfume is Chanel No.5.***
I read a lot of biographies on clasical movie stars. I read my first one at the age of 11.***
I can be serious when I need to be but I also have a stupid sense of humour which a lot of people don't get. I also cry at movies and sad songs. The last song that made me cry was 'Alyssa Lies' by Jason Michael Carroll. I also remember crying at 'Whisky Lullaby' by Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss, Martina McBride's 'Concrete Angel' and 'Travelling Soilder' by both Ty England and Dixie Chicks.'***
I'm not much of a TV watcher but I love 21 Jump Street, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, I Love Lucy and the biography channel.***
My favorite subjects at school were History, English, Art and Music. Maths sucks.***
I have three guitars, a classic, a western and a red electric.***
I hate getting up early but I love staying up late.***
Valentine's Day sucks but Halloween rocks!***

'coming up for air' (from the lost album), and my record 'growing flowers by candlelight' are now available on digital download from i tunes worldwide (they'll also be on other download stores very soon).
'flowers' is also available on cd from ainsliemusic.com (all copies bought through the site are signed and i ship worldwide).
Thought you might find this mildly amusing... It's the mini-movie of me & Queen Elizabeth II playing poker... It features my good mate Leo Sayer (yes, the 70's pop icon!) as the Queen and is now viewable on the web, courtesy of the folks at youtube.com (although whoever copied it to youtube unfortunately clipped off the punchline at the very end!)..
It also features a guest appearance from Little Britain's Steve Furst....
A nutty little performance, but it was a good laugh doing it!
You can see it on either my myspace page or at youtube:
