Asked about this she jokingly says "Unplugged is what you do when you don't have a band!" but goes on to explain that the thrill of unplugged, and especially with collaborations, is that you always know where you re starting but you never know where you ll end up; "it's the unpredictable rush of what happens when you put energy, experiences, and the different people they pertain to together on stage in an intimate venue!."
Her first single as a solo artist , "Where My Head's Been", is the first 'piece of (her) mind' , a largely auto-biographical song whose lyrical derivation and arrangement communicate a mocking wit that becomes amusing in its authenticity.
