I love reading great books, listening to talented musicians, and nature in all its splendor. There is absolutely nothing in this world that man created which will ever supercede the beauty in nature - and that includes my awe of the human machine.
I have an interest in gentle balanced natural health... especially using high technology (not drugs) to partner with Mother Nature.
Music
I love music of all kinds except heavy metal, and twangy country (never did figure that one out). My passion is Latin music, jazz, and big band.
Movies
I'm not a big movie fan because I don't tend to be entertained by violence, sadness, or melodrama. Because of this, I enjoy movies like Madagascar, The Secret, Down the Rabbit Hole (is that the right name?)
Television
Again, I watch limited television... prefer a good book... although now and again, I do enjoy television.
Books
The books I read are pretty varied - everything from international intrigue to whimsical. Amongst my top all-time favorites, however are Ayn Rand, the entire Harry Potter series, Christopher Moore's Lamb, most of Maeve Binchy, The Girls' Guide to Hunting And Fishing by Melissa Bank, the entire series by Jean Auel (The Clan of the Cave Bears, The Mammoth Hunters, The Valley of the Horses), mysteries by Donna Andrews, The Secrets of Jin-Shei by Alma Alexandra, of course The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom. Then there's How I Paid For College by Marc Acito - a very entertaining laugh.
