Real name of Activator is Mariusz Dziurawiec. He was born in Wroclaw in 1970. This is where he gathered his first experience in music, playing bass guitar in first line-up of legendary band STAGE OF UNITY. He is a member of DJ collective JOINT VENTURE SOUND SYSTEM for many years. With JVSS he played hundreds of parties in Poland and abroad. In June 2003 Home Appliance Records released his album "Activator Mario Dziurex Remixy", where you can hear remixes he has comitted for ones like Zion Train, Rootsman, Macka B, Mad Professor, Bakshish, Kapela Ze Wsi Warszawa (Warsaw Village Band), Kayah and many others. The remix collection was highly acclaimed both by the originators of the tracks and Joint Venture Sound System’s audience, as you can hear them often on their dancefloor.

Alors c'est quoi la micromusic ? Ce sont des artistes qui débarquent sur une scène, avec toutes sortes d'objets électroniques non-identifiés issu de vos rêves d'enfants les plus fous. Gameboy, dictées magiques, et beaucoup d'autres choses, trafiquées afin de créer un univers sonores hors du commun ! C'est hallucinant à entendre, c'est étonnament très écoutable et incroyablement inventif, et c'est à observer sous toutes les coutures.
Une expérience à vivre absolument.
