LATIN TOUCH -"FIESTA"
The Latin Touch project started in the Mid 90s when singer songwriter Mario Anastasi signed a World wide deal with BMG Records for his first album. Mario had formed "Latin Touch" who rapidly gained an awesome reputation for their powerful live performances in UK & Europe. The craftsmanship of song writing put them firmly in the Latin pop firmament with inevitable comparisons to Jon Secada, Gloria Estefan and recently Ricky Martin & Enrique Inglesias.
The new album "Fiesta with Me" recorded in London and co-produced by John Themis, Mike Neophytou and Mario. John Themis has currently played guitar and worked with top artists such as Spice Girls, Boy George, Chris De Burgh and many other credible artists.
Tracks such as "Senorita" and "Fiesta With me" encompass the bands musical range and versatility in the Latin and pop vein. Some of these tracks have already been heard on feature films "Just Like A Woman", TV ads and TV shows in UK & Europe and other parts of the World. Furthermore, most tracks recently used as the main theme music in the “La Bamba” series on Avanti television. The band also features the fabulous flamenco guitar work of Spanish gypsy "Tito Heredia" who has played with the great "Paco de Lucia".
International appearances and tours enabled the band to initiate, build and develop their success throughout Europe and Latin America.
The album is a classic Latin-Pop amalgam of fabulous up-tempo Latin grooves allied to romantic ballads and is a perfect album highly compelling dance and Latin music tailor made for a Fiesta !!
