Mario Licata is a freelance bassist, composer, and arranger.
A chameleon of musical idioms, Mario’s groove, approach, knowledge, and style transcend his young age. From rock, funk, pop, reggae, punk, rockabilly, metal, and jazz, Mario is a very versatile and in demand sideman.
Mario is currently attending Montclair State University studying under Linda McKnight. Mario also has studied with the great Joe Hakim. He has worked with many local bands, singer songwriters and producers such as; Mitch Savoie, Johnston Boondocks,The HYPE, Dave Fields, Robert Matarazzo, And She Said, Joanna Burns, Joe and Lea, Ron Albanese, Bailar Jazz, Synocrastic, MSU Percussion Ensemble, Mike's Basement, Nicole Larderi, Hawthorne Christian Academy, Kim Prinz, Brandon Van Allen, Untitled, The Holy Rollers, Maverick, Montclair Operetta Club, DTK, Montclair State University Orchestra, among many others.

well i went back on the 11 because i had to start school right away :[ im sorry i didn't come to say goodbye to you guys. ill be coming back in April and hopefully march for jesses engagement party! so i will deff. see you guys soon. i love u and tell everyone i love them as well.
