Marion LoGuidice’s new album God’s House delivers wildly poetic lyrics coupled with driving melodies that push consciousness to the edge. She weaves intimate tales of grief, beauty, anger and forgiveness, stretching the borders of rock, pop and folk with her diverse range of musical styles. An evening with Marion’s music promises to feed our hope and open us up to the possibility of life lived on the edge of both motion and stillness. Marion’s voice, like her words and music, is deep, sonorous, and earthy. It defies any sort of pat characterization or classification, with a voice that Cyndi Lauper praises has an "arresting quiver that is heart-stopping." Marion has been playing at Joes Pub, The Public Theater, to SOLD-OUT audiences for the past two years and is currently recording a new record.

"I am CONVINCED that Marion is the real deal, and that it is simply a matter of time before other people, I mean a LOT of people, start to wake up to what I have seen and heard and felt the few times I have seen her perform. I think it is STUNNING that Marion is able to generate that much musical energy, and flow, and impact."
"Her melodies are hauntingly lyrical; her stories street-wise, passionate and truthful. Her performance kept me on the edge of my seat. Marion’s voice is rich and compelling. Her work is moving, beautifully emotional and poetic.
Listened to the samples, read the words and I am totally blown away; the new CD is a hurricane of emotion and poetry, awesome yet beautiful in its power.
Hello Marion! The red-tailed hawk is very special to me. I have always felt connected to the hawks. A male red-tail lives during the warm weather in the wood line along a cornfield across the road from my house. While doing family history research earlier this fall I found three red-tail feathers in a cemetery. I used two of them on a prayer pipe I made and the other on a staff. I live about 3 to 4 hours from the city in PA. I haven't been there since about 2001. Joe's Pub in April sounds very interesting. Very glad that you're still making music.
