THE MARION WESTON BAND formed in April 2007 shortly after Marion returned from recording her first CD "Everything" in Nashville. Marion's desire was merely to create an independent collection of country songs written by Canadian and American songwriters that spoke to her heart. To her surprise, soon after she finished the recording process Marion found that she was getting invites to perform, including an offer to open on the big stage at the huge Merritt Mountain Music Festival in Merritt, B.C. in front of Carrie Underwood and Reba McEntire. Not one to turn down a challenge and an opportunity, Marion rounded up a gangbuster set of musicians that love live music as much as she does. THE MARION WESTON BAND is both versatile and creative and offer their audiences a great blend country, rock, blues and funky original and cover tunes that show off Marion's bluesy, sexy, silky voice. THE MARION WESTON BAND fan base continues to expand as invites to perform are reaching further from their Bellingham, Washington base of operations. The band also has video clips available on myspace.com.
