Marisette was born in a New Jersey rehearsal space in May of 2009, when 5 familiar musicians came together for a jam session to unload the stress of a tumultuous few years with other projects. Within moments, they had an overwhelming feeling that what they were doing was nothing less then exactly what they'd all always wanted. They started writing songs right away, knowing they needed to expose the world to the music that finally gave them a new perspective. Marisette recorded 3 of those songs at Applehead Studios in September of 2009, and have a ton of exciting things on the way for 2010.
