Marisol Jimenez is a composer from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Currently working towards a doctoral degree in composition at Stanford University. Her output includes a number of chamber and electronic works, as well as collaborations with visual and video artists. Her music has been performed by ensembles including the Arditti String Quartet, Ensemble Surplus, Ensemble Recherche, Ensemble Intercontemporain, International Contemporary Ensemble, the Freiburger Barockorchester, Ensemble Octandre, and SfSound.
