   About Marissa Deitz
A manipulator and butcher of many instruments, an earnest quack. A pursuer of an education with little practical application. All in the name of music! An admirer of weather systems and words on pages and the act of baking, a creator of things upon things. I am an utter fool in the face of love.

Post-Script:
"If the world that we are forced to accept is false and nothing is true, then everything is possible. To interrupt the continuum of everyday experience and all the normal expectations that go with it. To live as if something actually depended on one’s actions. To rupture the spell of the ideology of the commodified consumer society so that our repressed desires of a more authentic nature can come forward. To demonstrate the contrast between what life presently is and what it could be. To immerse ourselves in the oblivion of actions and know we’re making it happen. There will be an intensity never before known in everyday life to exchange love and hate, life and death, terror and redemption, repulsions and attractions. An affirmation of freedom so reckless and unqualified, that it amounts to a total denial of every kind of restraint and limitation." -Waking Life

Unfortunately the show is only 21+. I'm glad you enjoyed my music as I also enjoy your creativity. I think I still have my lyrics to the song you and Cal were working on if that is still a current project, and I could help with the music too. We can talk about it more soon.

Marissa, I'm so happy you recorded and posted your amazing version of Astronaut! I was just about to post it to my page, and I don't know, perhaps it's the holidays, but zombies felt more appropriate ;)

also. One of my goals for the summer is for the two of us to put together an acoustic set and play some coffee house gigs.
You down?

Just to make sure our spring breaks are at the same time: I'm out from the 20th to the 29th.

Second, I'm hoping to come back into town for Easter (10th, 11th, 12th). Maybe a simultaneous resurrection of recording and Jesus? Who could turn down Jesus and baked goods? I know I couldn't.

Really like the new song. I have a drummer now and bass player wish I had them when you had time to play. but you know andrew was just a little too unfocused to be in a band. If you ever want to just hang out and play for fun. that would be nice. your a cool person and I hope I can keep you as a friend.

oh god I know. I had to leave at 10 this morning because apparently I received a "bad report card."

god I can't wait to leave this hellschool. It is not suited for birds who wish to fly.

I do not have school tuesday and I have a half day thursday and my weekend is probably empty as of now.

So, in the words Miss Deitz, we should kick it.

How is Noah by the way?

I don't know.
I just don't see a purpose anymore.
I love it, and it's my life, and it's what I want to do, but fuck..
I just don't see the purpose.

I am so jealous of you, just to let you know.
Even my new song isn't even near the amazingness as your music in general.

-sigh-

I really consider quitting music when I hear talent surpass mine by like..a landslide. How you have no record contract, or people asking for one is beyond me.
