It claims on my birth certificate that my name is Marissa, but everyone defies that and calls me Mar instead. I'm tired of always being the nice person who will spare your feelings and leave hers exposed only to be crushed, spit on, and thrown back in my face. It amazes me how cruel people really are, and it's sad to see something with such opportunity to bring happiness be completely destroyed by someone with their silly little words of jealousy. Life is just a big cycle of mistakes and mishaps that we are supposed to make the best of and learn from; so far I think I'm doing a pretty good job of holding my own. For the most part, friends come and go for me. I try not to get to attached because I know they wont be around for long. I always tend to place 2nd in everyones life. It would be nice to feel like I was someones #1. I'm oblivious to everything around me; really, I'm clumsy and a complete mess. I don't talk to a lot people at school, I've been there and done that and its only brought problems. Its not that I'm mean or cynical, it's that I've always been the one to put more into a friendship or relationship than the other person, so this is me giving up. If you want to be a part of my life, you can approach me and I'll meet you halfway. You will always see a smile on my face, and it's not in anyway fake. Every smile is real because I was happy at that very moment in time. I don't regret anything, everything has reasoning behind it. I'm still a child at heart, with a mature mentality. Life is exactly like a roller coaster; it has its high points, low points, twist, turns, loops, and most the time only something little is holding you back from falling out. Many people enjoy it for the rush. Music isn't life, but it definitely gets me through some rough times. Photography is just a hobby for me, reading and writing are my passions. I'm a gamer, and its not just a attempt to look cute. I absolutely love video games and could sit and play them with you 24/7. I'm a fun, outgoing, and accepting person, just don't take advantage of it. I can't make you like me, nor will I ever try and fool you into liking me by telling you all the things you want to hear.
