This being the first official full length release by Marizane, you have to go back to 1992 to get the full story. Debbie Shair (keyboards) and Todd Jaeger (vocals, bass, guitars, theremin) met in Los Angeles, discovering a mutual love for classic rock and pop song craft.
Forming Marizane, the pair gained the attention of Tony Visconti famed producer of albums by T. Rex, Badfinger, Procol Harem and David Bowie. Working with Visconti, the pair moved to New York and assembled a collection of tracks, then moved back to Los Angeles and in 1996 added guitarist Jeff Kluesner and prepared to release Marizane's debut album Hypercube Sideshow.
Unfortunately, the release was canned when Shair sustained an injury that prevented her from playing keys, and those songs only saw the light of day when Marizane released a limited-run of Songs from the Hypercube Sideshow in 2001. A couple of years later, following the recording of the title track for the Mayor of the Sunset Strip soundtrack, Marizane culled three Visconti-produced tracks from the Hypercube Sideshow sessions along with two more recent tracks to flesh out the release of their 2003 EP Stage One.
Marizane spent the next few years playing live in and around Los Angeles as well as serving as studio musicians for various local LA artists, and in 2003 began production on Cosmosis.
With the support and help of many friends and special guest musicians, Cosmosis is currently available on CD from the Heart online store and for download from iTunes and Amazon.com!

It was my pleasure to add "Fiddler’s Green" to my Internet radio playlist (playing independent music commercial-free 24x7) and introduced it on my weekly podcast found at http://indiemusicsampler.com/2009/11/06/ims-157/
Thank you so much for honoring us with your precious friendship.... We hope that you are having a Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful day and that the adventures of your Life feel like a ride on the mystery train of Pure Joy.....Thanks again......
If you could enable the function on your player where we could add your song to our players, perhaps the networking aspect of myspace would work by others besides your myspace "friends" hearing and becoming aware that you have awesome new music out there. More exposure would be better, yes?
