I was born into a musical family and learnt the piano from a young age. I joined a number of choirs at the various schools I attended and later on progressed to various Church choirs in the different countries I lived in.
I joined a semi-professional choir in Stuttgart, Germany in 1985 which performed mainly Bach, Heinrich Schutz, Mozart and other classical sacred music.
My voice training began in 1986 with other choir members and I started private singing lessons in 1989.
I moved to Spain in 1990 and joined the University Choir in Malaga for a couple of years. I recommenced private singing lessons in 2001 and subsequently began to sing solo.
Started a gospel group "Free Spirit" in January 2004, in which I combine the classical with the American Gospel and ethnic African styles of music.
I have performed as a choir member in many concerts in Germany, France, Spain and Portugal. I have sung solo in several churches, private functions, weddings, birthdays and other sundry celebrations. I have also appeared in several concerts in local Town Halls in Malaga and also Tivoli World Malaga.
In 2006 I performed a concert featuring music from the Hollywood musicals in Melbourne Australia.
I am presently interested in exploring new avenues for the classically trained voice. The combination of classical music with pop, ethnic flamenco etc greatly interests me.
