    i enjoy a good movie every now and then, but there is too much garbage out there to go regularly ... i seem to prefer documentaries over most of what gets released here anymore...

    anything which is not part of the conservative agenda... The more i read about, and the further we ooze to the right, the more to the left i find myself to be... just started another Al Franken Book... (now finished, it was great) read "omnivore's dilemma" about our industrial food production system.... i feel sick, but still haven't managed to stop eating meat... yet... maybe i'll write my own some day about how natural it is for a nation of sheep, to be fleeced regularly....

About me:

had some rough years, but things have really turned around for me...... i am happy to be getting a fresh start! raised in a religious household. taught a bunch of garbage.... found out my truth.. it took a long time, but now i am in a much better space.... quitting drinking and stuff really helped too..... ...Do as you will, harm no one... ...Spiritual, not religious.... instead of waiting around for some savior to rescue us from our problems, I've decided to take responsibility and do what i can to work towards a better world... for everyone... even the despotic dogmatists who think it's okay to trash the planet cuz some magic jesus is coming any minute to "damn me to hell" and give them cushy jobs........ if there is a god, i have to believe "it" will do nothing for me, or to me, only through me.... blah... ....

Who I'd like to meet:

Atheists, pagans, witches, heretics and queers! people on spiritual paths not tied to the war mongering, desert religions.... people who use their brains, ... creative and positive people! i want to know people who like doing good because they want to do good... not because of some threat of punishment, or promise of reward from some "god" .... Trent Reznor..... Al Franken... Bono... Bill Maher... B the change U want to C........ it's harder than it sounds.... worth trying at least... i actually did a year at a right wing propaganda mill called landmark christian school where i learned just how hateful people calling themselves christians can be... it probably had a bigger effect on me than it should have, oh well, at least now i can totally spot crap from miles away... i was totally prepared for and not at all surprised by where bush has brought us... no surprise he wants to fund these mills.....
